Beautiful Shinto gateways in Motonosumi Shrine, Japan – Photo gallery

Motonosumi Shrine is located in Yamaguchi Prefecture, the westernmost part of Japanese main island, and was selected by CNN as one of the 31 most beautiful places in Japan in 2015.



123 Shinto gateways stretch more than 100 meters from the entrance.




It is also said that the 4-meter high donation box, which is said to be "the hardest to throw money into the box in Japan", will grant you a wish if you can successfully throw a donation into it.



The Kakushima Bridge, known as a beautiful bridge, is located nearby, so it's a good idea to take a photograph.
